Unlimited Training, Maximum Safety
VFR Emergency procedures: Drill in the checklists and emergency muscle memory which you will need to perform under the stress of a real emergency. The realism of our simulator will put you closer to these situations than you've ever been, or hopefully will ever be. Some of the situations we train for include: engine failure on takeoff and at altitude, cabin fire, smoke in the cockpit, loss of flaps, trim failure, alternator failure, PFD failure, prop governor failure, loss of autopilot, diversion, and CAPS parachute deployment -- just to name a few! Aeronautical Decision Making (ADM) Course Scenarios: Test and develop your decision making process. Conduct a cross-country flight and encounter variables that will test your decision-making tree as well as your system knowledge. Most accidents are a product of pilot error; learn where your blind spots are and how to make the proper decision when the stress level is high.
Instrument procedures: How long has it been since you've flown an approach to minimums? How about going missed? You can stay sharp by practicing approaches, departure procedures, holds, and standardized procedures. Analyze when to put in the flaps, when and how you load the procedure, and how to go missed out to a hold. VFR pilots will learn how to control the plane by instruments and safely remove themselves from unexpected IFR. Instrument emergency and abnormal procedures: What do you do when things start going south in a hurry? With our simulator, you can experience what it would be like to have a PFD failure, autopilot failure, icing encounter, alternator failure, pitot static failure, an unusual attitude, cabin fire, and much more all while in IMC conditions. Partner in Command: Your partner will be able to learn in the right seat of our Cirrus simulator what to do in an emergency. We will teach them what to do -- from autopilot operations, talking on the radio, and eventual CAPS use. We will also teach them how to be a better co-pilot on normal flights and support your efforts as pilot.
Training slots are booked on a first come, first served basis. This program is open to a limited number of clients.
