DAY 1

BARCELONA, SPAIN

Welcome to Barcelona, home to stunning architecture, world-class cuisine and its outstanding soccer team. The city dates back 2000 years ago to the Roman Empire and many remains of the original buildings can be seen throughout the city. Home to 25 Michelin-starred restaurants and a vibrant nightlife scene, Barcelona has much to offer those who wish to explore. Although we spend only one night in this famous destination, you may wish to arrive early and spend time discovering the city’s secrets. You may also find arriving a couple of days early helpful in acclimatizing to the new time zone.

For our first evening together we will first meet in the Rooftop Bar of our hotel, The Mercer Barcelona. Dinner this evening will be served in The Mercer’s restaurant, providing us with a premium culinary experience and a chance to get to know your fellow travelers.

Tomorrow we wave goodbye to Barcelona and journey south west, over the Atlas mountains and onwards to the city of Marrakech.

DAY 2

mARRAKECH, MORROCCO

Day 2 starts early, with breakfast and briefing at the hotel before check out and private transportation to Sabadell Airport (LELL). The flight to Marrakech is our longest of the trip at 4.5 hours, and a boxed lunch will be provided for you for the journey. We will stop at Granada Airport (LEGR) to refuel our aircraft and eat lunch in the sun after a scenic flight over the Sierra Nevada mountains.

Upon arrival at Marrakech Airport (GMMX) we will clear customs and be transported to our home for the next three days, Ezzahra Villa. Hidden in the exclusive Palmeraie area of Marrakech, Ezzahra Villa is a stylish, private estate of three luxury villas, just 15 minutes from the bustling Medina. Set into 20,000 square meters of landscaped gardens with ancient olive trees, date palms and orange & pomegranate trees, Ezzahra Villa is the epitome of luxurious privacy.

With today’s long journey behind us, it’s time to settle into our elegant, cozy quarters. We’ll meet for pre-dinner drinks in the spacious Berber tent outside Ezzahra villa and enjoy a delicious and authentic Moroccan meal prepared by the villa’s chefs.

day 3

Today we spend time with our feet on the ground and explore the striking terrain of the Atlas Mountains. Led by our knowledgeable guide we will discover this impressive landscape and the flora & fauna within the ecosystem. We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch on the mountains, the rugged skyline surrounding us.

On return to the Ezzahra Villa, it’s time to relax; with an extensive spa menu and unlimited treatments, it’s hard not to! Choose to have your massage in a treatment room, by the pool or in your room. There is also a games room with a competition-sized pool table and bar at your disposal and two screening rooms if you prefer sheltering from the sun indoors.

Once again we will enjoy deliciously authentic Moroccan cuisine for dinner, cooked by your expert personal chefs at the Ezzahra Villa.

day 4

Rise and shine! It’s time to take to the skies again and view Marrakech from a different angle. This morning we will discover the charming city and surrounding hilltop villages from the comfort of a private hot air balloon. Watch the exquisite sunrise materialize over the tops of the Atlas Mountains before landing for a traditional Berber breakfast and warm up in the early morning rays.

From the mountains to the Medina - it’s time to explore the streets of Marrakech on foot. Our local guide will accompany us to uncover the history of the city and experience the activity and atmosphere of the open-air souks. This is the time for souvenir shopping so practice your haggling skills; our guide will help to make sure you get a good deal!

After our morning’s cultural expedition we will enjoy a Mediterranean and Moroccan inspired lunch at Villa Des Orangers before returning to the Ezzahra Villa. Unwind for one last afternoon at the estate, doing as much or as little as you like. Tonight’s dinner will be prepared by our chef and served under the stars.

DAY 5

pORTO, PORTUGAL

On Day 5 we exchange the vibrant Moroccan city for the sweeping Portuguese coastline. After breakfast at Ezzahra Villa we’ll depart Marrakech Airport (GMMX) for Cascais Airport (LPCS) in southern Portugal. Here we will clear customs and refuel before continuing on to Maia Airport (LPVL) on the outskirts of Porto. Private transport will take us to our hotel for our time in Porto, The Yeatman, located in the historic heart of the city.

After a day full of flying, we will unwind and refuel ourselves at The Yeatman Gastronomic restaurant. This establishment boasts 2 Michelin stars and provides and provides a warm welcome and an environment of classic comfort.

DAY 6

Our second day in Porto is a day at will to enjoy as you would like. Take to the streets of Porto and explore its hidden gems with boutique shops, authentic local restaurants and plenty of rich, delicious port waiting for you to discover.

Rather take to the water? Explore the Douro Valley by boat and visit local port vineyards and nearby towns saturated with history and delicious treats. Whatever you decide to do today is yours to choose and we are happy to help you make it happen.

Tonight’s meal will be a short walk from the hotel at Barão Fladgate. Chef Ricardo Cardoso is a native of Porto, and his dishes highlight the best of Portugal, combining traditional flavors with the most refined of classic international cuisine.

DAY 7

Torrenueva, Spain

On Day 7, we will travel from Porto to Torrenueva, Spain. Breakfast will be at the hotel before our private transport takes us to collect our Cirrus aircraft from Maia Airport (LPVL). After departing Maia Airport we will head southeast leaving Portugal behind as we fly inland towards Hotel La Caminera’s private airport (LENE) in southern Spain. After arriving to Hotel La Caminera and checking into our rooms, we will enjoy an amazing lunch at Retama. Retama is an award-winning Michelin star restaurant that gives an avant-garde tribute to the cuisine of La Mancha and the products of the land, where every bite and sip tells a story.

The Afternoon is yours to enjoy as you wish. We will meet again this evening for one final dinner together.

Day 8

Madrid, Spain

On our last day, we will travel from Torrenueva to Madrid, our final destination of this adventure. After breakfast at the hotel we will head down to collect our Cirrus aircraft from La Caminera Airport (LENE). The flight to Madrid is a short one, and we will land at Madrid’s Casarrubios Del Monte Airport (LEMT), the home of Cirrus Spain.

After a tour of Cirrus Spain’s headquarters. we will enjoy one last lunch together before our private transport will take us to our final hotel, The Principal Madrid.

The afternoon and evening is yours to enjoy as Madrid is where we end our Moroccan Adventure, and if you would like assistance in extending your stay we are happy to helpyou organize this.

WEATHER/REFUND POLICY:

The Flight Academy will not fly or sanction flight in weather that is unsafe or for which the Cirrus is not rated. The weather at our departure location and our destination must be above published minimums in order for us to launch.

In the event weather does not permit a flight to take place as scheduled, the Flight Academy will attempt to find an alternate route that allows for a safe execution of the flight. If the weather causes the trip to be cancelled, no refund will be offered. Any additional expenses incurred during the trip due to foul weather will be the responsibility of the customer.
