There’s absolutely no substitute for earned confidence. This is where you need to be to gather both the technical know-how and academic understanding of all aspects of aviation for your private pilots license.

Luke’s keen eye for talent is second to none. This especially rings true for the upper leadership. Helen is the picture perfect representation of what is needed in an aviation academy. As a new member to world of flight she’s a perfect guiding hand. The discovery interview lead to her assigning the ideal instructor for my learning style and hectic work life.

Nolan’s calm demeanor and wealth of knowledge is everything a person needs to take flight.

If you’re serious about your flight training this is an investment that must be made without delay..

I have been on the journey of obtaining my PPL for almost 20 years. I developed a passion for aviation while flying with my father at a very young age. I knew I wanted to follow in the footsteps of my father and learn to fly myself. I took my first lesson in January of 2003. As with many passions and pastimes, life got in the way of training and obtaining my dreams of being a pilot. Numerous other times I started to train again in 2010 and 2016. Each of these times, again life got in the way and I could never seem to reach my goal. This past January I purchased a 2019 Cirrus SR 20 in hopes that my commitment to such an investment would drive me to complete training. As with the previous attempts, I found myself struggling to commit the time to finish. In late September I was introduced to Helen at TFA. I explained to her my difficulty with focusing on completing my training. Helen worked with me to develop a plan to finish and finally reach my dream of becoming a pilot. She was just as committed to helping me achieve the goal as I was continually communicating with me, giving me words of advice, and motivating me to complete the journey. Not only should Helen be praised for her skills as a professional instructor, yet she should also be acclaimed for her ability to place students with instructors having similar personalities. Evan not only provided the time and energy in preparing me to be a pilot (and a lifelong student of aviation), he has become a friend that I feel I can lean on with any question or concern. I have had numerous instructors over the years however none have shown the interest in my success nor the energy in helping me become a proficient pilot. Evan was not satisfied in me just becoming a pilot. He wanted to instill the skills that create safe and courteous habits common to those pilots who are always learning to become better pilots. With the exception of my family, there is nothing in my life I am more proud of than being a pilot. I owe a great debt of gratitude for the ability to Helen, Evan, and the Flight Academy.
